Barry Cahill believes criticism of Stephen Cluxton’s performance in the All Ireland semi-final was unfair.
A number of uncharacteristic errors were brutally punished by Kerry as they nabbed two quick goals to send them in 5 points up at the break.
The first poor kick-out from the Parnells man fell to Paul Geaney, who set up Darran O’Sullivan for a goal.
Cahill believes Cluxton was blamed unfairly, and that the Dublin defence should’ve been in better positions for the quick kick-out:
A second goal came from a Cluxton mistake as Geaney got the touch on it that send it across the line.
The shot-stopper regained his composure and the Dubs secured their spot in the decider with a 0-22 to 2-14 win.
