Aaron Connolly is not part of Stephen Kenny's Republic of Ireland squad for tonight's clash with Serbia.

It's understood he is absent due to injury.

The Brighton attacker has featured for Ireland in their two qualifiers so far in this international window.

Indeed, the 21-year-old had goal chances in both matches.

His effort against Portugal came at a crucial stage, when Ireland were 1-0 up in the second half.

The shot from close range went wide, though Ireland felt aggrieved a penalty was not awarded for what appeared to be a push.

He also started in the 1-1 draw with Azerbaijan at the Aviva Stadium.

Tonight's game kicks off at 7.45pm, and is live on Off The Ball.
