A young man has died in a crash near Carnew in Co.Wicklow.
The 23 year old died when the car he was a passenger in hit a wall at about 4 o'clock this morning.
A man in his early 20s has been arrested in connection with the crash.
The R725 remains closed at Croneyhorn and diversons are in place while a full examination is carried out.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who might have seen what happened to contact them at Baltinglass Garda Station.
