A young man from Dublin has died in Africa.
It's believed the backpacker, who is from Portmarnock and in his early 20s, fell after he left a club in Tanzania yesterday.
The victim was travelling with a group of friends at the time.
A Department of Foreign Affairs spokesman has confirmed that consular assistance is being provided to the man’s family.
