Dublin Bus has seen a jump in passenger numbers for the first half of the year.
An extra 700,000 people are using the service compared to the same period in 2014.
It comes as the company unveiled the first of 90 new state of the art buses to join their fleet which have extra security cameras and spots for wheelchairs and buggies.
Chief Executive Ray Coyne says they’re hoping to see passenger numbers grow further by the end of the year.
"We hope to build on that as the year progresses. We are able to do that by providing a quality service for our customers."
