WoW Air has added Pittsburgh to its list of destinations.

The low-cost airline offers Irish travelers the chance to visit a number of American and Canadian cities at knock-down prices.

The only catch is it's a longer trip because of a layover in Iceland.

Today the company has announced people can now fly from Dublin or Cork to Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania from just under €130 one way.

WoW CEO Skúli Mogensen says:

‘Pittsburgh is certainly a destination on the rise and one that will appeal to a wide range of Irish travellers looking to discover somewhere different, so we’re thrilled to add the destination to our route list.’

From June next year there'll be four departing flights per week - on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
