A woman who's walked from Belfast to Wexford in her bikini for an eating disorder charity is on the final leg of her journey this morning.

Bettie Marie Burger Smit set off on her "Trek Fada" at The Titanic museum on Monday the 5th of May and when she finishes up at the RNLI station on Wexford bridge this afternoon she will have walked total of 364 kilometres.

It's all in aid of "Body Whys" who work to support people suffering with Anorexia, Bulimia, and unhealthy self-esteem.

With 35 kilometres left to go on her journey, Bettie Marie says she wanted to do something that would spark off a conversation about the importance of positive self image.
