A woman in her 70's has died in a house fire in Dublin city.
Emergency services were alerted to the fire on St Malpas Place, Clanbrassil St shortly after 7am this morning.
The 70 year old woman was taken from the house and brought to St James Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
A technical examination is underway at the scene, and Gardai at Kevin St are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
