Gardai are appealing for information to an assault in the city centre over the weekend.
They received reports that a woman had been attacked by a man in Temple Bar.
Gardai say the woman at the centre of this assault left the scene before they could talk to her and they’re appealing to her to get in touch.
At around twenty to four on Saturday morning gardai received reports that a woman was assaulted by a man at Bedford Lane in Temple Bar close to Aston Quay.
It’s understood she had been knocked to the ground before members of the public helped her.
A number of witnesses have been interviewed about the assault but gardai are very keen to speak to the injured woman.
