A well known Dublin criminal has been shot dead in Spain.
Gary Hutch was gunned down on the Costa Del Sol in broad daylight yesterday.
At about half 11 yesterday morning, Hutch who was from the north inner city was ambushed by a masked man in a holiday resort near Marbella.
He was chased around a swimming pool in an apartment complex before being shot by an attacker wearing a balaclava.
The 34 year old was a nephew of former Dublin criminal Gerry "The Monk" Hutch.
Gary Hutch had been living in Spain in recent years and was connected to an Irish led international drugs caret.
It's understood paramedics tried to revive him but he died at the scene.
