A status yellow wind alert remains in place across Leinster this morning - with winds expected to reach 65 kilometres per hour.
Drivers are being warned to take extra care on the roads and watch out for debris and fallen trees.

Meanwhile, some households are without electricity in parts of the city this morning due to the stormy conditions overnight.
According to the ESB, customers are mainly affected in county Cavan but there are further outages reported in Wicklow and parts of Dublin.
The ESB expects power will be restored to all homes by mid-morning.
