The rise of on-demand tv services doesn't seem to be harming Ireland's love of the cinema.
New figures show we spent 99 million euro at the flicks last year, that's a 3 million rise on the 2013 amount.
According to Rentrak EDI, which compiles the figures, 38 million euro has been spent at the box office so far this year.
The new Avengers movie has been the biggest hit so far, taking in nearly 2.8 million euro since it was released last month.
