Thousands of people have taken to the streets all over the country to protest against water charges today.
The first of more than 90 rallies got underway in Dublin from 11 o'clock this morning.
The protests caused several roads to close to facilitate the thousands of people marching through the city centre and surrounding areas.
The Sinn Fein Deputy Leader Mary-Lou McDonald says people across the country are sending Government the strongest message yet.
