The water charges crisis shows no sign of ending.

Its after protests in Yesterday protesters were arrested after tense scenes in Santry and Coolock

Over 200 people spend a few tense hours demonstrating outside Coolock garda station last night after 3 anti water charge protesters were arrested when the Taoiseach visited Santry earlier that day.

The protestors arrived at the station at around 7:30 and gardai remained on alert until the crowd dispersed before 11pm.

The 3 arrested were released without charge

Meanwhile it's reported every home in Ireland is to get 100 euro to help pay for water charges.

According to the Irish Independent it'll be paid in four 25 euro installments in the same way Child Benefit is given out.

It comes following a tense stand off yesterday between protesters and officers at Coolock Garda Station, over the arrest of three water charge demonstrators.
