Drivers are being told to expect additional pedestrians on the streets this morning as thousands of youngsters take part in Walk to School week.
Children are being encouraged to be more active and to urge their parents to leave the car at home.
The An Taisce initiative aims to encourage kids and teens to stretch their legs and get some exercise and fresh air before class.
