Violent clashes over Charlie Hebdo publication

There have been violent protests in several countries following the publication of Charlie Hebdo his week.

Huge demand has resulted in five million copies of the magazine being printed after 12 people died in a terror attack at its Paris office.

Four people were killed in Niger, and there've been demonstrations in Pakistan, Sudan and Algeria.

The new edition of the French weekly has a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed on the front cover.

Meanwhile, Barack Obama has warned against rushing to curb civil liberties following last week's terror attacks in France.

The US President held talks with British Prime Minister David Cameron yesterday, in which they agreed to work together to fight extremism.

Mr Obama says there shouldn't be an 'overreaction'.

EU Foreign Ministers will meet in Brussels on Monday to discuss the heightened threat of terrorism in Europe.

More than 20 people have been arrested in Belgium, France and Germany after last week's attacks in Paris left 17 people dead.

Five people have been charged following a series of anti-terror raids in Belgium.
