United Airlines flights are no longer grounded worldwide - after its computer system suffered a technical glitch, causing a ripple effect of heavy delays throughout major airports.
About 3,500 flights were affected.
The delays impacted on hundreds of domestic and international destinations.
The Federal Aviation Administration blamed the ground stop on "automation issues."
We experienced a network connectivity issue. We are working to resolve and apologize for any inconvenience.
