Two new opinion polls paint a mixed picture of the government party's performance ahead of the General Election.
The Sunday Times poll shows Fine Gael dropping two points and Labour unchanged, while a survey by the Sunday Business Post indicates a two-point decrease for Labour with Fine Gael holding steady.
However, both polls show Fine Gael retaining an 11-point lead over their nearest rivals.
In terms of the Opposition, the Red C poll in the Sunday Business Post shows Fianna Fail gaining two points to 19, level with Sinn Féin who are unchanged.
Independents and Others share 23 per cent, in a poll which was taken between last Monday and Wednesday.
The Sunday Times poll by Behaviour & Attitudes was done over a longer window - January 4th to 13th and showed Fianna Fail drop of one point to 20, while Sinn Féin fall one to 16, and the rest share 26.
