Two people are due in court this morning, charged in connection with stealing a car and injury of a Garda in Balbriggan at the weekend.
The officer was hit by a stolen car at around 11pm on Saturday night.
Two other Gardai received minor injuries and two patrol cars were also damaged.
A man and a woman in their 20s, were arrested in the Balbriggan area and are due before Dublin District Court today.
They will face charges of burglary and car theft.
