Tributes have been pouring in for 98FM's broadcasting legend Johnny Lyons after he passed away suddenly at his home.
The 98FM Sports Editor was a larger than life character both on and off air and will be missed by his friends and colleagues.
He was passionate about sport especially soccer and cricket which you could hear in every word he uttered on air.
He also had a deep love of music and loved, in his own words to "rock out".
There will never be another.

It’s hard to pick a favourite Johnny Lyons moment. Although it would hard to beat the time he turned up to the press conference...
