The top ten areas in Dublin at risk of energy poverty have been revealed for the first time.
They include parts of Cabra, Finglas, Ballybough, Coolock, Ballyfermot and the inner city.
It's because some of the homes there have a very poor energy rating of E1.
Some households have average bills of 2000 euro a year because the houses can't contain heat.
Bills, unemployment levels and energy ratings are the key factors in determining areas most at risk.
The top ten areas are as follows but are not ranked in any particular order:
- Cromcastle area of Coolock
- Cappagh Road area of Finglas
- Decies / Muskerry Road area of Ballyfermot
- Landen / Lally Road area of Ballyfermot
- Sections of Blackhorse Avenue, Dublin 7
- Belvidere Avenue area of Ballybough
- Ventry Park area of Cabra West
- Arran Quay
- Sherrard Avenue area of Ballybough
- Cabra Road area of Cabra East
