The President, Acting Taoiseach and other ministers have gathered at Arbour Hill in Dublin to mark 100 years since the Easter Rising.
President Micheal D Higgins and Taoiseach Enda Kenny were given full military honours as they arrived at the location where 14 of the 1916 leaders are buried.
The relatives of those who fought in the Easter Rising are also attending the annual mass and commemoration ceremony at Arbour Hill.
A parade and open-air concert are taking place in Dublin City today to mark the 100th anniversary of the 1916 Rising.
Organisers, Reclaim the Vision of 1916, say the parade will start at Merrion Square at 2pm, before making its way to the GPO, where the free concert will take place from 3pm.
A number of artists, ranging from musicians to actors are expected, including Adrian Dunbar, Fionnula Flanagan, Panti Bliss, Damien Dempsey and Frances Black
