Gardaí have arrested 3 young men and recovered a gun following an attempted robbery yesterday.
A business premises in Bluebell was the target.
At around 20 to 8 last night two men, one armed with a gun, attempted to enter a premises on Bluebell Avenue.
When the couldn't get in they returned to a waiting car and tried to leave.
However gardai from Kilmainham who spotted the gang and saw what happened, stopped the car.
Three men aged 18, 20 and 22 were arrested.
They are being held at Kilmainham, Sundrive and Kevin St Garda stations where the can be detained for up to 3 days.
