The United Nations Security Council has unanimously backed a call to redouble action against the Islamic State group following the Paris terror attacks.
It calls for co-ordinated efforts to prevent further atrocities - but it doesn't provide any legal basis for military action.
Meanwhile, thousands of people turned out for vigils in Paris last night, a week after the terror attacks which killed 130 people.
Some were silent as they lit candles, but others made noise in defiance of the terrorists who targeted their city.
