Today over a thousand emergency service workers will march on O'Connell street to highlight the work they do.
The parade is one of a number of events taking place to mark National Emergency Services Day.
Members of Ambulance and Fire Services and An Garda Siochana are set to take part in the second annual parade.
Organiser Seamus O'Neill says it's an opportunity to show appreciation for the work they do:
