AirBnB has been asked to hand over details of Irish people renting out rooms to Revenue.
An estimated 9000 householders here have rented out a room or home on AirBnB and if you're one of them, the tax man is after you.
The site has e-mailed its customers in recent weeks telling them that it has supplied details to Revenue of rental income earned for properties both in and outside of the country.
The clampdown will be backdated to May 2014.
AirBnB will hold a public meeting at its headquarters in Ringsend this evening to address peoples concerns.
There will also be a presentation and Q and A session.
