A 19-year-old is due in court in connection with an armed cash-in-transit robbery in Bluebell.
Security staff at the Post Office on La Touche Road were threatened by two men on Thursday afternoon.
The man was arrested on Friday morning shortly after midnight on Francis Street, when the car he was driving was stopped and searched and a sum of money discovered.
He was detained at Kevin Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
