Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a taxi man was assaulted and his car was hijacked in the early hours of Saturday morning.
It happened shortly after 3.30am, when the taxi driver picked up a fare at Poplar Square in Naas.
When the taxi got to Sallins the two men forced the driver out of the car, took his mobile phone and a small amount of cash.
The raiders escaped on foot.
