The Taoiseach has refused to repeat his promise to 'end the scandal of patients on trolleys'.
Enda Kenny has turned down two opportunities to say whether he'd repeat the promise made in his first campaign as Fine Gael leader in 2007.
In an interview when he was twice asked if he'd repeat the promise in the campaign next year, he said he understood the stress that being on trolleys caused people.
But he refused to confirm if he would promise to end the trolley crisis again:
