The Taoiseach says Priory Hall was part of a "disaster" in the construction sector.

Speaking at the National Employment Week conference in Dublin this morning, Enda Kenny says the apartments in Clongriffin were part of a dangerous and speculative property market.

The Taoiseach added that the circumstances that led to the development of Priory Hall need to be left in the past.

His comments come following an interview with Priory Hall developer Tom McFeely last night.

Speaking on the BBC's Spotlight show, Mr. McFeely said that he has nothing to apologise for in relation to the building of the complex and that he did not believe the apartment block was a fire hazard.

Priory Hall had to be evacuated in 2011 due to safety concerns.

But Tom McFeely said the problems could have been fixed..

Spokesman for the former residents Graham Usher says they just want to move on...
