A Tallaght woman and her 3 children has been living and sleeping in a car for the past week.
Thirty six year old Sabrina McMahon and her kids aged between 2 and 5 moved from Athy back to Tallaght two years ago.
Since then they have been put up by her family and friends.
She has been on the housing waiting list for more than a year and says that she can't get any private landlord to accept rent allowance.
Sabrina says things reached breaking point recently when she couldn't get emergency accommodation and the family was forced to sleep in her car.
South Dublin Co. Council says that it is aware of her case.
