Talks To Continue To Try To Avoid Friday's Train Strike

Unions and management at Irish Rail will return to the talks table today, to try to avoid Friday's strike.

Train drivers are due to stop working for three hours between 6am and 9am at the start of the bank holiday weekend. 

Talks collapsed in the early hours of Saturday morning and now the Workplace Relations Commission has called both sides back in the hopes of finding a resolution.

Dermot O'Leary of the National Bus and Rail Union says disagreement remains on payments for past work..
