There's a ban on swimming at White Rock Beach in Killiney due to an outbreak of E Coli.
Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council found high levels of the bacteria on the beach on Monday.
As a result a temporary ban against swimming at the bathing spot has been put in place.
E. Coli can cause sickness in both humans and animals.
The cause of the E Coli is not yet known however the Council has launched an investigation.
The water has since been re-sampled and these test results are due back tomorrow.
If these results are satisfactory then the Council will lift the warning to the public.
