An investigation is underway into a suspected bomb making factory in Tallaght.
The discovery was made on Blessington Road on Monday night.
This suspicious find was made by the owner of a storage site who found two men mixing chemicals on the property.
The men fled the scene and the owner called gardai.
When officers arrived it was though it could be a crystal meth lab but now its believed the substances could be used to make bombs.
The bomb squad was called to the scene last night to assist gardai.
Gardai say the scene remains sealed off and the substances and equipment have been taken away for analysis, the outcome of which will determine the course of the investigation.
