The Union of Students in Ireland is urging first time students to remain calm in the initial few weeks at third level.
It's publishing a new guide today with practical advice on finding accommodation and how to budget.
It comes as figures from Daft.ie show there are 2-thousand fewer rental properties available than at this time last year, as students start the hunt for accommodation.
