Stephen Roche is the Grand Marshal of this years St. Patrick Parade.
He was chosen by Festival organisers for his outstanding contribution to cycling.
The Dubliner will lead the Parade on its 2.6 kilometre route through the city centre on Monday, March 17th.
Speaking as he cycled around Grand Canal Square for the cameras this morning, the Tour De France winner said he couldnÂ’'t believe he was asked to do it.
