A well known coffee kiosk in Ballsbridge is being taken over by Starbucks.
The Irish Times reports the owners of the franchise in Ireland (brothers Colum and Ciaran Butler) paid €330,000 euro for the hut at the junction of Lansdowne Road and Pembroke Road.
The Butler brothers outbid several other investors to take ownership of the 'wardrobe at the end of the street.'
Earlier this year the previous coffee vendor, Brian Kenny, told Liveline he was given his marching orders one month before he was due to get a permanent lease.
