All eyes will be on Dublin this Friday as Spice Girls open their reunion tour at Croke Park.

It's been ten years since the iconic 90s group last toured together.

This time, they will be without Victoria Beckham.

The group hasn't performed together since the 2012 London Olympics.

Fans heading to the Spice Girls Croke Park show are being reminded there will be heightened security at the event.

Ticket holders are being told to arrive in plenty of time, but not before gates open at 6pm Friday.

Anyone attempting to queue overnight or from earlier in the day will be moved on by security and Gardai.

As with most live music events held in Dublin since Ariana Grande's Manchester show in 2017, there are a number of entry rules:

  • No backpacks or large handbags
  • No bag larger than A4 size
  • Everyone will be strictly searched before entry

To ensure as smooth an access as possible, promoters have told fans to bring "as little as possible" and to "minimize jackets and additional layers".

Fans are being encouraged to walk, bike or take public transport to Croke Park.

Irish Rail is putting on Intercity, Maynooth and DART services on Friday.

However, DARTs will not stop in Drumcondra from 6pm for crowd safety reasons.

Those who need to drive are being asked to carpool and allow an extra two hours for their journey.
