People living in certain parts of the city are in fear of their lives if they report anti-social behaviour.
98FM News has learned that no-one in Ballyfermot, Crumlin or the south inner city has reported drug dealing to a special helpline, despite an increase in detection in those areas.
Council tenants have a hotline where they can report a number of issues to management including anti-social behaviour and drug dealing.
However, in the first six months of this year, that phoneline hasn’t received a single call from people living in Ballyfermot, Crumlin or the South inner city complaining about that type of behaviour.
That’s despite a jump in the number of people being arrested for drugs.
