France's government says a siege in northern Paris in which a woman blew herself up with a suicide belt, is now over.
Police say a second terror suspect was also killed and seven others have been arrested.
It's understood the raid was targeting the man thought to have masterminded Friday's attacks Abdelhamid Abaaoud.
French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve has praised the bravery of the officers who took part.
Explosions and gunshots were heard during the operation which began under cover of darkness.
The raid started in the early hours of this morning at 4.30 local time.
