Gardai are investigating an alleged shooting near Greystones this morning.
It's understood two cars were chasing when people in one vehicle began shooting at the other.
It happened on Farrankelly road at around 11am.
Two shots struck the car of a passing motorist. A forensic and technical examination is being carried out on the car that was struck by bullets.
No one was injured in the incident.
Gardaí in Bray are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have information to contact them.
