Sex attacker Anthony Lyons was released from prison today.
The Griffith Avenue businessmen had pleaded not guilty to violently sexually assaulting a young woman, and claimed he was overcome by an "irresistible urge" due to a combination of alcohol, cholesterol medication and cough syrup when he attacked her.
Lyons had been sentenced to six years in prison with five and a half years suspended initially, but a further 18 months was later added to that sentence.
The state appealed his sentence on the ground it was too soft.
