Sinn Fein is holding demonstrations around the country today to highlight what they're calling the trolley crisis in hospital Emergency Departments.
The campaign of action is taking place in towns and hospitals - including several locations in Dublin.
Demonstrators are meeting between 11am and 12 noon at the Balally Centre in Sandyford, and Lidl in Dundrum. There's also a protest at the Mater Hospital at 1pm, as well as in Blanchardstown and Tallaght Hospitals.
Other locations around the country include Limerick, Kilkenny, Galway, Clare and Kerry.
Yesterday, the Health Minister Leo Varadkar signed a directive requiring hospitals to take steps if a patient is left on a trolley for more than nine hours, the recommended maximum waiting time.
