A security guard is recovering in hospital after being viciously assaulted in Coolock.
He was stabbed and suffered burns to his face following the attack last night.
This incident happened at around ten to nine at the Northside Shopping Centre, just before it closed for the night.
A security guard in his mid 20s was sprayed in the face with an unknown substance and was stabbed in the leg.
He was rushed to Beaumont Hospital where he's recovering this morning.
No arrests have been made and Gardai are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, to contact Coolock Garda Station.
