A search of lands in the Dundalk area by gardai investigating the disappearance of a girl 18 year ago, is resuming this morning.
Seventeen year old Ciara Breen went missing in 1997 when she left her home in the early hours of the morning of the 13th of February.
A garda investigation at the time failed to locate her.
Now following a renewed appeal for information, an extensive garda search operation is underway a short distance from Dundalk garda station.
A suspect was arrested in April of this year but was later released without charge.
