A major school extension at Scoil Choilm, Porterstown in Clonsilla, has been opened today by the Minister For Education.
The new state of the art buildings include 16 classrooms, special needs facilities for two special needs classes and a general purpose hall.
The schools currently has almost 550 pupils but when fully developed will have the capacity to cater for more than 900 pupils from junior infants to sixth class.
Scoil Cholim is a Community National School with a multi-denominational ethos whose patron is Dublin and Dun Laoghaire ETB.
