Ryanair is going to make a profit when it sells its 29.8 percent share of Aer Lingus to IAG.
Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary says the offer is a "reasonable one in the current market".
Aer Lingus will have a meeting next Thursday, and Ryanair will be voting in favour of the IAG takeover.
This sale will give the Government a "golden share" of the Heathrow landing slots.
