The Rose of Tralee festival has begun in the Kingdom.
Thousands are expected to take part in festivities surrounding the competition over the next few days before the winner is announced on Tuesday.
Six guys are taking the scenic, and painful, route to the festival as they cycle 400 kilometers from Dundalk to Tralee.
The lads are on day two of the challenge- to raise funds for Friends of A, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
The group are aiming to raise €5,000 and are close to €3,000 so far.
