Irish Rail says there's been worrying rise in dangerous incidents at level crossings this year.
It comes on International Level Crossing Awareness Day.
So far this year there have been 20 incidents at the cross sections involving motorists and 3 where pedestrians were involved.
That's more than double the rate for all of 2014.
