Renting a single bedroom in the city centre where large colleges such as Trinity, DIT, Griffith College and NCAD are located, averages at 507 euro each month - a 10 percent rise on 2014.
Student representatives are calling for the government to act, amid fears that college-goers will be priced out of the market.
